Our church will be sending items to help folks in South Texas who have been impacted by the storm.

We will receive items at the church Sunday Morning 08-26-2017 and through Sunday night to send. After that, you will need to send them directly to some agency to distribute them.

If you wish to give cash to be used to purchase items to be sent, you can make your check payable to Central Baptist Church, put it in an offering envelope with STORM RELIEF (and the amount) written in the Special Box on the Offering Envelope. You can put cash in an envelope if you wish the same way (your name on the envelope is optional).

Items that can be brought and placed on the table in the Welcome Center include the following::

Batteries batteries batteries (many areas will have no electricity and these are vital).

Flashlights

Insect repellent

Work gloves

Hand sanitizer

Socks (men and womens) due to standing water they change socks frequently during day

Foot powder

Trash bags (large black lawn size)

Shop towels

Bottled water, gatorade, vitamin water.

Snacks-protein bars, breakfast bars, small bags of chips or snack crackers, candy bars, beef jerky/slim jims

Portable cell phone chargers (with full charge )

Supplies to assemble mini first aid kits.

Bandaids various sizes

Latex and non latex gloves.

Neosporin

Aspirin / tylenol

Ziploc bags to use to prepare kits

In shelters their needs would be more for families. Diapers. Formula. Baby wipes. Adult incontinent briefs. Personal hygiene items.
